The Layers of Reality

The world consists of layers, stacked over each other and invisible to the eye.
Certainly, not all dimensions have been discovered or can be discovered, though Dreambinders have researched those relevant to humans.

I The First Layer

• The first layer was named so by humans, despite it not necessarily being the 'main' or 'first' one. There is no known ground layer.
• This layer includes earth and the universe around it as we perceive it.

II The Second Layer

• This layer consists of Oneiroi, which, unlike humans, enjoy a joined existence, existing as the fabric of the dimension with each other.
• This layer is closest to the first, which is why humans can access and influence the second layer when their mind is removed from the first. (This is the layer where dreams take place.)

Oneiroi

Oneiroi are what makes up the second layer. They usually do not have their own form. Their collective form can be shaped by a humans' imagination. Theories propose that human imagination would not be possible without the existence of Oneiroi. It is not proven that Oneiroi are conscious in the way humans are.

An example of an Oneiros seperated from the collective is the Moon in Dimiour. This was done early in the process of creating Dimiour in order to ensure a consistent archiving of memories.
